Tinashe Jordan Kachingwe (born February 6, 1993 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA) is an American actress, singer and dancer. She is known as a member of girl group, The Stunners.

Early life[]

She was born in Lexington, Kentucky and named "Tinashe" Jorgensen, which means "We are with God" in Shona, by her grandfather. She spent her early years in DeKalb, Illinois, as a baby model, with her two younger brothers, Thulani and Kudzai, but, at age eight moved to Los Angeles, California. Her father is Zimbabwean and her mother is Caucasian.

Personal life[]

She is a black belt in taekwondo. She plays the piano, and played the violin for three years, before quitting. She has a dog named Jazz, and a cat. She is also a fan of the Harry Potter and Twilight series as well as the fast food chain In-N-Out Burger and restaurant PF Chang's. She also appeared in Justin Bieber's music video "Baby", along with friends Lil Twist and Drake. She has also appeared in YouTube videos with the New Boyz.

She is best friends with Jt Ervin[1] , fellow the Stunners member Hayley Kiyoko[2] and professional dancer Shonnie Soloman[3]. She is also good friends with Lil Twist and Ben J and Legacy from the New Boyz. As a former victim of bullying, Kachingwe is an active member of the anti-bullying community[4] as well as an advocate for the LGBT community.[5]
