Akira Kanbe (かんべあきら Kanbe Akira?) is a Japanese manga artist known for his work as the illustrator of New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Episode Zero.
Akira Kanbe also the creator of We are Born on a Moonlight Night (月のうまれる夜 Tsuki no Umareru Yoru?), a supernatural manga.[citation needed]
Leroy Dessaroux described Kanbe as being "unusually good at figure drawing", especially drawing people during sex acts.[1] ActiveAnime's Rachel Bentham commends Hot Limit's art as "racy, sexy and hot",[2] and has praised Kanbe's skill at drawing "subtle facial expressions".[3]
